People Profiling
People Profiling is a neuroscience-based method that reveals leadership and relational patterns through facial muscle tone and micro-expressions. It is where every AESTION journey begins.
Every facial expression is produced through muscular activity. Distinct character traits consistently engage specific muscle groups, resulting in characteristic patterns of muscle tone. These patterns can be perceived through the brain’s mirroring mechanisms (mirror neurons) and interpreted via defined indicators.
The method applied is grounded in contemporary neuroscientific research and is based on the systematic correlation between facial muscle tone, behavior, and character traits. It aims to reliably capture these correlations between muscular expression and emotional as well as mental states, and to integrate them into a replicable model comprising a defined set of character characteristics.
Why it matters
Benefits
Efficiency Saves sessions typically required to establish the groundwork.
Precision Identifies the areas that will move you forward fastest.
Depth Provides insight into both your inner landscape and your relational impact.
Clarity Reduces guesswork and prevents working on the wrong topics.
Momentum Creates early breakthroughs that energize the entire journey.
Startingpoint
Profiling turns leadership development into an efficient, focused, and deeply personal path.
It is a core strength of the AESTION methodology — and a clear strategic advantage for you.
Scientific Backbone
The profiling approach applied at AESTION builds on a research-based model that systematically examines the relationship between facial muscle tone, observable behavior, and stable character traits. Using a hypothesis-driven methodology and triangulated external observation, the underlying research identified a defined set of reproducible character patterns with a high degree of reliability. For ethical reasons, the full methodology is applied exclusively in trained and authorized contexts. A detailed overview of the scientific foundations and validation of this approach is available in the accompanying research document.
The Face
The face always reveals who you are, and what life has done to you. Yet it is difficult for you to see the shape of your own life; your life is too near you. Others can decipher much of your mystery from your face.
